As a data architect on our national security team,you’lluse your extensive technicalexpertiseto design andoptimizedata architecture solutions for cyber operations data governance as well as analytic and reporting dataflow.You’llresolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by analyzing data architecture-related mission and business needs and working with client staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments.
In this role,you’llgrow your technicalexpertise, apply bestpractices,and use tools to design databases and query databases, create data models, document and visualize as-is architecture to inform to-be architecture.You’llguide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, andyou’llserve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

Analyze and plan foranticipatedchanges in data capacity requirements.
Analyze information todetermine, recommend, and plan the development of a new application or modification of an existing application.
Consult with customers and key stakeholders to evaluate functional requirements for AI and data applications.
Provide recommendations on new database technologies andarchitectures.
Confer with systems analysts, engineers,and programmers to design applications.
Advisehigher level leadership on critical data management issues.
Examine andidentifydatabase structural necessities by evaluating operations, applications, and programming.
Prepare database design and architecture reports.
Effectivelyallocatestorage capacity in the design of data management systems.

Experience documenting, designing, creating, and deploying data architectures and database solutions for IT systems and their users
Experience guiding teams in converting requirements into implementation plans
Experience capturing andestablishingclear, concise, and executable data standards
Experience developing performance metrics todemonstratesystem performance
Knowledge of making system data readily available, secure, tagged, formatted, and accessible
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience with data architecture or HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with data architecture
Experience withUSCYBERCOMtools and data sources
Experience with software engineering management
Experience with data visualizations

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
