Job summary

A leading company in IT is seeking a SQL and Oracle Database Administrator for a multiyear project in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing database systems and should possess experience in SQL tuning, PL/SQL, and related skills. This full-time role requires a strong educational background and previous DBA experience, along with the ability to work on a 24x7 on-call basis.

Qualifications

• Certified as an Oracle DBA or SQL DBA (preferred).
• 5+ years DBA work experience (preferred).
• Rotating 24x7 on call required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle and SQL databases effectively.
• Conduct performance tuning and unit testing.
• Participate in the on-call rotating schedule.

For one of our ongoing multiyear projects we are looking for a SQL & Oracle Database Administrator out of Madison, WI.

Recommended Skills, Abilities And Certifications

Certified as an Oracle DBA or SQL DBA (preferred)

BS in computer science or related engineering field (preferred)

5+ or more years DBA work experience (preferred)

Rotating 24x7 on call will be required.
