Job summary

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. is seeking an SQF Practitioner to serve as the primary QA resource, supporting the Quality Manager and SQF Certification efforts.

The role will oversee SQF system development, maintenance, training, and audits to ensure compliance with GMP and food safety plans at the Catoosa plant. Key duties include maintaining documentation, leading internal/external audits, and coordinating corrective actions while prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in quality control or lab work in manufacturing; degree can be substituted.
• Understanding of scientific methods, QC concepts, lab procedures, and chemistry.
• Willingness to obtain HACCP Certification and SQF Practitioner Certification; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Upholds safety, quality, and food safety policies and procedures.
• Complies with GMP, SQF, and plant standards (Catoosa).
• Immediately report potential food safety or product quality issues to management.
• Maintain and continuously improve the SQF System and documentation.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with SQF certification.
• Lead audit management and corrective actions; monitor supplier documentation.
