Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking an energetic Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for Launch in Troy, MI. You will drive APQP, PPAP, and supplier readiness to ensure on-time launch and compliant parts for production.

Candidate should have 5+ years in supplier quality with launch involvement and strong GD&T/MSA/Cpk/Ppk experience. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and PM to achieve top-quality launches.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree or equiv. or previous working level experience.
• 5+ years of Supplier Quality experience with direct involvement in vehicle or product launches, including APQP management, PPAP approval authority, GP-12/controlled shipping, and supplier readiness assessments.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Experience with varied components (Stampings, extrusions, seats, plastics, seals, lighting, etc)
• Ability to identify process issues and drive improvements to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
• Strong working knowledge of launch readiness metrics, PPAP status tracking, and supplier milestone management tools.
• Ability to interpret GD&T and engineering drawings; experience working with suppliers on dimensional reporting, MSA, and Cpk/Ppk requirements.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• High level of integrity
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for an energetic, organized, experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), Launch to join our growing team. The SQE, Launch will be embedded within our program teams to drive supplier readiness from APQP through Job 1. This position is responsible for ensuring suppliers achieve PPAP approval, meet launch milestones, and deliver conforming parts on time in support of our production launch.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
