A government agency is seeking individuals for a temporary SPS Help Desk support role in Baltimore. Candidates will assist with system user support calls, reset passwords, and guide employees through processes. Required qualifications include a high school diploma and six months of clerical experience. Remote work is possible and equipment is provided for this role starting in September 2025 until December 2025.

POSITION DUTIES
The Shared Services Division within the OPSB, DBM, is seeking individuals to work at the SPS Help Desk to assist with system user support calls. Successful candidates will function in a support role in the Division and should be able to work independently.
Specifically, duties involve resetting system passwords, guiding employees through system processes, following up to ensure issues are resolved, and providing feedback about the system.
This is a temporary position starting in September 2025 and ending in December 2025. Core work hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with an 8-hour workday. This position is remote, and work equipment is provided.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Six months of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.

Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications
Employees may be required to operate a motor vehicle. If so, a valid motor vehicle operator’s license in Maryland is required.
Selection Process

Successful candidates will be ranked as Best Qualified, Better Qualified, or Qualified and will remain on the eligible list for at least one year.
