Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is hiring an experienced Sprinter Technician to service Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, including both diesel- and gas-powered vehicles. The position offers a flat-rate structure with a compensation range of $66,000–$150,000 and Mercedes-Benz factory training opportunities.

The role provides access to strong advisor and parts support, modern diagnostic equipment, and pathways to advance your certifications and earnings within Larson Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Experience with Sprinter vans or Mercedes-Benz vehicles preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, including diesel- and gas-powered vehicles.
• Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and services.
• Complete mechanical, electrical, drivability, engine, and diagnostic repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
• Inspect vehicles and clearly document findings and repair recommendations.
• Perform repairs according to Mercedes-Benz procedures and quality standards.
• Work closely with service advisors and the parts department to support efficient repair completion.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation.
• Move and road-test customer vehicles as necessary to diagnose concerns and verify completed repairs.
• Follow dealership, manufacturer, and workplace safety procedures.
