Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of McKinney is seeking an experienced commercial or Sprinter Technician to join our Fixed Operations team. The technician will perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, supervising any apprentice. Strong Sprinter/Mercedes-Benz expertise is preferred.

We offer competitive compensation of $25-$45 per hour, comprehensive training, and opportunities for advanced certifications within a leading Sonic Automotive dealership network.

Qualifications

• ASE or manufacturer training required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a luxury-vehicle technician.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Pass pre-employment checks (background, MVR, drug test).

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Inspect vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed.
• Notify service advisor if additional work is required.
• Road-test vehicles when required.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
