Fletcher Jones Automotive Group seeks a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain diesel engines and vehicles at Mercedes-Benz of Henderson. You will use diagnostic tools to resolve complex engine issues, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold dealership standards.

The ideal candidate has diesel trade training, proven mechanic experience, and a sharp eye for detail. We offer paid training, competitive hourly rates, and a busy shop environment to maximize earnings.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Degree or Certificate from a trade school preferred.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components and diagnostics.
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and resolve complex engine problems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
