Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Rockville Centre is seeking an experienced diesel technician to diagnose and repair Sprinter engines and systems. You will use XENTRY diagnostics, road-test vehicles, and perform scheduled maintenance for both fleet and personal customers.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of diesel repair experience, Sprinter familiarity is preferred, and a professional tool set. Expect a fully equipped shop with modern facilities and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Diesel repair experience required.
• Sprinter experience preferred; diesel experience with other manufacturers welcome.
• Mercedes-Benz and ASE certifications preferred, not required.
• CDL not required.
• Professional personal tool set.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Good time management, basic computer skills and the ability to work independently.

Job description

Keep commercial and passenger vans properly maintained, repaired and on the road. Our Sprinter team supports business customers who depend on their vans every day, as well as clients who drive Sprinters for personal transportation.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair Sprinter engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake and A/C systems
• Use Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment
