What you will do:

  • Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system issues.
  • Contact customer representatives to identify problems.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Follow troubleshooting procedures, consult technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically with proper coding and customer signatures.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we look for:

  • 3 to 5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Comfort working in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working at heights up to 40 feet, in ducts, crawl spaces, or above ceilings.
  • Flexibility to work hours including weekends and participate in on-call rotations. Overnight travel may be required.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain truck inventory for timely responses.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Good organizational skills, a positive attitude, and quick learning ability.
  • Valid driver’s license meeting company standards.

Preferred:

  • NICET Certification — ability to obtain within the first year.
