Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service, repair and install water-based fire sprinkler systems and related equipment in the Tempe, AZ area. You will perform inspections, documentation, and maintenance to ensure compliance with national and local standards.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, the ability to work in diverse environments, and a commitment to safety. Full-time position within Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in installation or repair of water-based equipment.
• Ability to work in varied environments around mechanical equipment, including ladders, scaffolds and high-lift equipment; comfortable in ducts, above ceilings, outside/inside in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumps.
• Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems, pumps and related equipment.
• Document deficiencies/impairments and report on-site.
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed.
• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment; follow vehicle policy.

Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians perform service, repairs, and installation associated with fire sprinkler systems and other water-based equipment in accordance with all national and local standards. **** OurFire Sprinkler Service Techniciansspecialized skills, knowledge surround state/federal regulations, and commitment to proper system functioning play a critical role in safeguarding lives, property, and businesses from the devastating effects of fires.

As a Service Technician - Sprinkler , you will:

• Install, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumps

• Perform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testing

• Properly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-site

• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed

• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment. Follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

_Basic Qualifications:_ __

• 3+years of experience in the installation and / or repair of water-based equipment

• Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment,working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 poundsunassisted

• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

• 5+ years of experience with installation and repair of water-based equipment

• High school diploma, state-recognized GED, associate, or bachelor's degree preferred

The pay range for this position is $58,834 - $95,858 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
