How will you contribute:
Ahern is seeking qualified applicants for the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program to work in the Appleton, WI, and Green Bay, WI areas. This is a 5-year program working side-by-side with a journeyman sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Your employment will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Apprentices will complete on-the-job training and five years of coursework toward becoming a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter. Upon completion, Journeymen earn over double the apprentice hourly rate!
What you need to qualify:
Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, be able to travel, and pass a drug screen and physical (the job involves lifting and climbing). Successful candidates should be self-starters, have a strong mechanical background, a good attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment both indoors and outdoors.
Screening requirements include a drug screen, background check, physical, and references.
