Job Responsibilities

The Housekeeping Manager oversees the efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department, including supervising rooms, public areas, laundry, and front/back of house. Responsibilities include maintaining standards, managing staff, inspecting rooms, ensuring safety and security, handling guest requests and complaints, and managing inventory and supplies. The role requires active participation in staff training, performance evaluations, scheduling, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel or related experience, or relevant educational background with experience.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stress management skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and perform basic arithmetic.
