Job summary

Everforth Apex in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid with Newark, DE) is seeking a Spring Boot Developer to design and deliver complex middleware solutions that meet functional and compliance requirements.

You will implement REST and SOAP web services, apply design patterns, contribute to test suites, and collaborate across data, application, and business layers to ensure robust, well-tested interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience developing service integration solutions using Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of Design Patterns and design thinking to apply while developing technical solutions.
• Familiarity with SOAP and REST Web Services and related technologies (JAX-WS, JAX-RS, XML Technologies).
• Web Services design and development experience as a service provider.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements.
• Participate in and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realize a story or requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
• Perform proof of concepts as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
• Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in the design and development of client requirements.
• Assist the team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify test issues, and triage the underlying cause.
• Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
• Participate in and coach team members in delivery/release (CI/CD) events, such as branching, pull requests, and issue triage.
