You will assist with federal and state tax filings, tax research, and supporting professional preparers, while contributing to team-driven projects and client services.

• Interest in exploring a career in Public Accounting
• Demonstrated high academic and extracurricular performance
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a team
• High proficiency with office technology and software
• Strong accounting and tax fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to complex U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for business entities including C-corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, individual income, gift tax, and estate tax returns
• Understand the tax return process with a high degree of accuracy
• Research and consult on various tax matters; utilize tax-related software to research tax matters
• Support the office in maintaining and enhancing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of each client's business and finances
