KLR invites students to join our Tax & Accounting Internship for Spring 2027. This in-office internship offers exposure to audit engagements, tax assignments, and professional development opportunities at one of New England’s largest CPA firms.

You will work closely with firm professionals, gain hands-on experience, and learn public accounting processes and standards in a collaborative environment. The role is in-office and seasonal, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a degree program with a major in Accounting or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting theory and principles.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.

Aufgaben

• Assist professional staff with gathering and organizing information for financial reports and tax returns.
• Support Financial Operations staff on departmental projects under supervision.
• Conduct research related to audit and tax matters.
• Collect, record, analyze, and evaluate financial and operational data.
• Attend internal trainings to support professional development.
• Prepare engagement letters and assist with verification of financial statements and reports.
• Learn and apply workpaper techniques and documentation standards.
