Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. in Savannah, GA invites applications for a Spring/Summer 2027 Sustainability Collegiate Intern. You’ll contribute to value creation and environmental stewardship within a world-class aviation team, gaining mentorship and hands-on exposure to real projects.

You will research trends, help implement energy-saving initiatives, and support outreach with employees and community partners. On-site presence and a 12–16 week schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s degree or higher in Sustainability Eng, Environmental Science, or Aerospace Engineering (Sustainability).
• On-site in Savannah, GA for Spring/Summer 2027; GPA 3.0 (unrounded) listed on resume.
• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Research best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Help implement sustainability projects (e.g., recycling programs, energy efficiency initiatives).
• Help organize sustainability awareness campaigns or events.
• Support communication efforts with employees, vendors, and community partners.
• Support the sustainability team with day-to-day operations.

About the position

Our team is seeking a dynamic individual to support our sustainability organization, which specializes in value creation, environmental stewardship, and leading the sustainable aviation future.

• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring and Summer 2027 semester, beginning in January to August 2027.
