Job summary

Montgomery County High School in Mount Sterling, Kentucky seeks a Drama/Set Coordinator for the Spring Musical. The role reports to the Director of Spring Musical and the Principal, with salary to be established by the Board. Starting date is immediate and a Kentucky teaching certificate is required.

The position involves coordinating set/prop construction, safety compliance, and supervising students during rehearsals and travel, with duties assigned by district leadership.

Qualifications

• Kentucky Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements.
• Such additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with director on set/design, color schemes, lighting and sound; ensures completion of projects.
• Ensures compliance with all safety regulations.
• Supervises students before, during, and after practice and competitions and during required travel.
• Maintains professional conduct and serves as a role model when representing the district.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Director of Spring Musical, Principal or Superintendent.
