Job summary

Sanofi in Waltham, MA is seeking a Spring Co-op to join the Process and CMC Data Science team for six months. You will build first-principle, ML, and hybrid models for mRNA process ops like IVT, TFF, chromatography, under mentorship.

You will gain hands-on experience with mRNA technology and data-driven process development, learn to design DoE, quantify uncertainties, and present results to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university for the duration of the co-op.
• Must relocate to the office and work 40 hrs/week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate first-principle, ML, and hybrid models for IVT, TFF, and Chromatography.
• Investigate impact of process parameters on CQAs and quantify uncertainties.
• Design and execute DoE for model structure, parameter estimation, and optimization.
• Analyze experimental and simulation data to inform process development decisions.
• Document modeling workflows, results and recommendations in technical reports.
