The Vertex Manufacturing Digital Systems Co‑Op is a 6‑month experiential training program for students currently working towards an undergraduate degree or an advanced degree in Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or other related fields. If you are passionate, collaborative, and growth‑minded, a co‑op at Vertex will help you gain meaningful experience in our Manufacturing & Operations functional areas and serve as a launchpad for your career.

The Manufacturing Digital Systems Co‑Op will support the continuous improvement, adoption, and user experience of digital tools used across Manufacturing. This role will collaborate with Manufacturing users and cross‑functional partners to develop and maintain training materials, collect and analyze user feedback, track system‑related activities, and identify opportunities to improve processes and digital system usability.
The Co‑Op will gain hands‑on experience supporting key Manufacturing platforms, including the PI data historian, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Tulip application platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in digital manufacturing, data analysis, systems improvement, and operational excellence in a biotechnology environment.

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
