Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking an Audit Intern in Indianapolis to support multiple client engagements, apply accounting knowledge with firm technology, and shadow auditors across levels. You’ll participate in team building and training, and contribute to marketing or research projects.

Responsibilities include attending social functions and occasional travel to client sites. A GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred, with juniors or seniors enrolled in an accounting program, and strong computer proficiency

As an Audit Intern, you will:

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings

What you bring to the role:

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel

The salary range for this position is listed below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. Pay Range: #$30 - $40/hr
