Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Intern in Indianapolis to work under multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements, applying accounting knowledge with firm technology and shadowing Audit professionals across levels.

The role offers participation in team-building, training initiatives, and opportunities to present on projects, plus involvement in social and community events. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels

• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings

Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.

Pay Range: #$30 - $40/hr
