Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. is seeking a Spring 2027 Systems Engineering Intern in Beavercreek, OH. The role supports engineers with assignments, data gathering, testing, and analysis under supervision, while developing core engineering skills and professional networks.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments.
• Carry out basic work instructions that will help understand the Company and learn new things.
• Conduct limited scope testing under supervision of engineers.
• Complete assigned tasks on time.
• Gather and assemble data for engineers.
• May assist in research in a particular field.
• Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under supervision of engineers.
• Assist engineers with appropriate design details.
• Build and maintain good interpersonal networks.
• Perform tasks to gain familiarity with staff, methods, programs and practices.
• Support and defend the mission, values and culture of Leonardo DRS.

• Assist engineers with appropriate design details
• Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
• Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
