Job summary

The Partnership for Public Service in Washington, DC offers a DC-based hybrid internship for Spring 2027. Interns must reside in the Washington Metropolitan Region for the duration of the program.

Priority is given to applicants from listed regional universities. Interns will work in one of four sub-teams within Communications (marketing, press, public engagement or storytelling) and gain experience with CRM, email marketing, and media monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, editing and public speaking abilities.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills in a team setting.
• Familiarity with CRM and email marketing systems is a plus.
• Experience with web and graphic design programs is a plus.
• Experience with media monitoring tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with writing, editing and brainstorming new ideas for campaigns.
• Support marketing, press, public engagement or storytelling teams.
• Develop content for weekly newsletter and blogs and manage social media outreach.
