  • Support the Engineering team to assist in projects, planned outages and mechanical equipment opportunities.
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance or continuous improvement programs.
  • Provide support for equipment failures and loss of production.
  • Assist in analyzing production delay data for establishing and modifying preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Provide support for problem resolution.
  • Assist with Project Engineering duties.
  • Work with engineer(s) to prepare, coordinate, and maintain schedules for extended production outages.
  • Work with maintenance craftsmen and operations to meet department goals.

Job description

Spring 2027 Semester Engineering Student Co‑Op opening (paid, with housing stipend) – Searching for Engineering student for our plant in Muskegon, Michigan.

Minimum assignment: 3 months. Part‑time employment (20+ hrs/week) for 6 months also qualifies.

Engineering Co‑Op Summary

Support the Engineering team to assist in projects, planned outages and mechanical equipment opportunities.

Essential Functions
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance or continuous improvement programs to support equipment availability and throughput.
  • Provide support for equipment failures and loss of production.
  • Assist in analyzing production delay data for establishing and documenting or modifying preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Provide support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
  • Assist with Project Engineering duties.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Work with engineer(s) to prepare, coordinate and maintain schedules for extended production outages and major maintenance work.
  • Work with maintenance craftsmen and operations to meet department goals.

Education and Experience
