Salas O’Brien is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op in Hammond, Indiana, on-site, part-time. You will support project engineers with drawings, specifications, and mechanical systems analysis, gaining exposure to HVAC, cooling water, steam, and industrial environments.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Mechanical Engineering program with coursework in heat transfer and fluid dynamics; prior co-op experience is a plus, and CAD proficiency is required.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Past co-op experience a plus, but not required.
• Completed coursework in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software for engineering deliverables.
