Enterprise is seeking a Management Internship in Central NJ for spring 2027. This paid, part-time role places you in a fast-paced, team-based environment, offering real-world management experience and exposure to leadership responsibilities from day one.

You will rotate through tasks like fleet management, customer relations, and marketing initiatives, while competing in project-based assignments and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be a university/college student enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, graduating by December 2026.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Available to work approximately 25 hours per week during Enterprise business hours.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a vehicle.
• Must live within a reasonable 1-hour commute to the location within 30 days of start.

Our university/college interns take on the same challenges as our first and second year full-time professionals. This is a temporary part time position during the spring semester 2027 with the hourly rate of pay of $19 / hour

This opening is for one of our branches in the Central NJ area covering Ocean, Monmouth, Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, Morris, Sussex and parts of Union Counties.

Responsibilities

When you join our Management Internship Program, you'll soon discover that every day is different because it is filled with new, exciting, rewarding and often unexpected opportunities. For a season, we’ll put you in the middle of everything, just like our Management Trainees. We’ll give you the chance to develop the skills you need to manage a fleet of vehicles, take care of customers, develop marketing strategies and build relationships with customers and coworkers.

During our internship, you’ll use the skills you learn to complete intern projects and engage in some friendly competition with your peers. You may also be eligible for performance incentives and employee referral rewards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a student in a Bachelor's degree program at a college/university, graduating by December 2026.
• The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• New Jersey DMV Requirements: First-time drivers or under 21 years old: If you are a first-time driver or under age 21 in New Jersey, you must complete the mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements. New Jersey’s GDL program introduces driving privileges gradually to first-time drivers and individuals under the age of 21.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Aside from religious observation, must be available to work approximately 25 hours per week during the internship within normal Enterprise business hours.
• Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour to the location(s) you are applying to within 30 days of anticipated start date.
• Must have 3 months of leadership experience and/or relevant work experience.
