Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace, a division of General Dynamics, invites Collegiate Associates to gain hands-on experience in the Software and Performance Products team within Flight Sciences at the Savannah campus. You’ll work on software for complex performance calculations and verification of control law software used by Gulfstream customers.

This on-site internship emphasizes real-world projects, exposure to Model Based Development, aerospace software certification, and data analysis to support

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• GPA 3.0 or higher (unrounded) required and listed on resume.
• On-site availability in Savannah, GA during Spring 2027.
• Rotation requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.
• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).

A bout the Position

The Software and Performance Products team in Flight Sciences provides a focal point for the software verification and validation (V&V) activities needed for certification and support of the Gulfstream aircraft along with the software centered development projects within Flight Sciences. This opportunity is within a team of engineers working on developing software for complex performance calculations and verifying control law software that will be directly used by Gulfstream customers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.


• Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.


• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.


• Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.


• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).


• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.


• Must have reliable transportation.
