Haren Construction Company offers a Spring 2027 Hybrid Internship (January–May 2027). Students will split time between project management and field operations, learning daily processes, communication skills, and construction site management.
The program provides previews of future roles, including potential advancement to Superintendent or Project Manager, with hands-on site experience and cross-team collaboration.
This application is for the Spring 2027 term only: January – May 2027. Enjoy construction, but unsure about the career path to pursue after graduation? Why not apply for Haren Construction Company’s seasonal hybrid experience?
Under the Haren Hybrid Internship, students will experience a cross between both aspects of our Project Management Internship and our Field Operations Internship. For half of the semester, students will work one-on-one with our Project Managers, learning the everyday processes, responsibilities, and communication skills needed to manage a heavy civil construction project. During the second half of the semester, students will relocate to the job site to work one-on-one with our Project Superintendent and crew, learning the physical mechanics, planning, and management styles required for the construction site.
Within this hybrid internship, we will provide students with previews of the different roles available after graduation – whether that involves leading your crew as an up-and-coming Superintendent or navigating the long-term details, planning, and communications of a Project Manager.
