Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support plant equipment owners with troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Learn the basics of combined cycle power plant operation (Brayton and Rankine cycle).
• Perform equipment walk-downs and notify plant equipment owners of plant issues.
• Assist with Management of Change updates to system drawings and documentation.
• Perform flow studies on water systems using a doppler flow meter.
• Walk down system and locate valves to confirm proper valve tagging. Identify deficiencies and have new valve tags printed and installed.
• Provide support in performing critical spares analysis on key plant systems.
