Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Spray Technician to join the spray crew. This role reports to the Chem Spray Manager and may provide instruction to other crew members.

Responsibilities include spray application of chemicals, adherence to chemical safety, and completing assigned tasks under directions. English and Spanish communication are valued; requires ability to lift 50 lbs and work 8+ hours daily in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Has or can obtain a QAL.
• Basic knowledge of plant material.
• Able to communicate in English & Spanish – oral and written.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Follow instructions accurately

Education And Experience

• Has or can obtain a QAL
• Basic knowledge of plant material
• Able to communicate in English & Spanish – oral and written

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day

Work Environment

• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
• Work near or about natural bodies of water
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
• Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
