Job summary

Treasure Valley Landscape, a Sperber company, is seeking a licensed Plant Health Care Technician to service clients across the Treasure Valley, including Nampa.

You will diagnose and treat plant health issues using herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers on commercial landscapes, with winter snow removal duties at enhanced pay. This is a full-time, non-exempt role based in Idaho.

Qualifications

• Idaho Professional Applicator License required (minimum OP category).
• Working knowledge of local pest and disease issues affecting turf, trees, and shrubs.
• Ability to safely mix and apply chemical treatments.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work full-time, including winter months.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to commercial landscapes.
• Identify common pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in turf, trees, and ornamentals.
• Calibrate, mix, and apply treatments in accordance with label requirements and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate application records.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment and company vehicles.
• Provide winter support through snow and ice management operations.

Plant Health Care Technician – Licensed Applicator

Treasure Valley Landscape, a proud Sperber company, is seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Plant Health Care Technician to support the health and beauty of our clients’ trees, shrubs, and turf across the Treasure Valley, including the cities of Boise, Meridian, Nampa and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Plant Health Care Technician, you'll play a key role in diagnosing and treating plant health issues through the targeted application of herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. This full-time position offers year-round work, including winter snow removal services at enhanced pay rates.

Responsibilities

Safely and effectively apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to commercial landscapes

Identify common pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in turf, trees, and ornamentals

Calibrate, mix, and apply treatments in accordance with label requirements and safety protocols
