Job description

Job Duties

1. Candidates will prepare surfaces for painting by smoothing, filling, shaping, taping, flushing, and removing old paint.
2. Candidates will identify safety hazards while working around paint substances, chemicals, and equipment.
3. Candidates will mix, match, tint, and blend coating materials by adding agents (e.g., retardants, dryers, solvents, thinners) to verify correct color, texture, consistency, hardening, and drying.
4. Certification in SSPC/AMPP C-7, C-12, C-13, C-14 is a plus.
