Job summary

iFOAM of Alpharetta is seeking a spray foam installer to work under supervision on finished jobs in residential retrofit and light commercial settings. You will install, upgrade, and complete tasks from prep to cleanup, while maintaining inventory and coordinating with the warehouse team.

The role requires 4+ years of spray foam experience, reading drawings, and knowledge of codes. A valid driver’s license and ServiceTitan experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
• 4+ years of experience in spray foam or insulation
• working knowledge of spray foam equipment and local/national codes
• ability to read drawings and spray accordingly
• valid driver’s license and ability to clear pre-employment screening
• experience with blown-in, batt and air sealing in residential retrofit projects
• comfortable using field service apps on mobile devices (ServiceTitan preferred)

National insulation services company, iFOAM, is opening a new location in Alpharetta. While we are locally owned, we are backed by a national brand and a team of industry experts. We serve residential retrofit customers as well as custom home, light commercial, and metal structure builders across the northern metro Atlanta area (north of I-285 in Fulton, Forsyth, Gwinnett, and Cherokee counties). Position Overview

The standard function of the position is to spray foam while working under the supervision of an Operations Manager and or next level supervisor on assigned jobs.

Responsibilities

• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools) with the warehouse team.
• Performs installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Manages a crew and job from start to finish, from prep to clean up.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must be detail oriented and take pride in a job done right.
• Must complete other projects, as assigned.
• Perform scheduled or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment systems under contract agreement. Inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating these systems are just a few tasks that could be assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have 4+ years of experience.
• Must have a working knowledge of spray foam equipment
• Must have a working knowledge of local/national codes.
• Must be able to read drawings and spray accordingly.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a pre-employment screening
• Experience in Blown-in, batt and air sealing
• Residential retrofit experience, including attics and crawlspaces
• Comfortable using field service apps on a phone or tablet (ServiceTitan preferred)

Additional Qualifications that would set you apart

• SPFA Professional Certification Program (PCP) credential, such as Installer
• Graco or manufacturer equipment training
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• BPI certification
• Experience training or mentoring newer installers
• Bilingual English and Spanish

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
  • Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
  • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
