Job summary

City Wide Insulation is seeking a Spray Foam Installer for our Sioux Falls, SD branch. This full-time, hands-on role involves applying open-cell and closed-cell spray foam on residential, commercial, and multi-family projects, with paid training and room to grow.

You will join a safety‑minded crew, follow OSHA rules, operate spray rigs, and coordinate with supervisors. Prior spray foam or construction experience is preferred; training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the shop.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Stand, kneel, crawl, climb, and bend while wearing respirator and gear.
• Comfortable in attics, crawlspaces, tight spaces and varying weather.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety and chemical handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply open-cell and closed-cell spray foam to walls, attics, ceilings, rim joists, crawlspaces, and metal buildings.
• Meet specified thickness, R-value, and coverage requirements on every job.
• Monitor material temperature, pressure, and ratios to maintain foam quality.
• Trim excess foam and inspect finished work for quality and completeness.
• Perform air sealing in attics, rim joists, and wall penetrations.
• Set up, operate, and break down spray rigs, proportioners, heated hoses, and spray guns.
• Perform daily equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
• Load, unload, and organize trucks, trailers, and materials.
• Report equipment issues or material shortages promptly.
• Inspect work areas and report hazards; mask and protect surfaces.
• Clean up overspray, debris, and waste; leave site clean.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; coordinate with crew and supervisors.
• Complete time and material paperwork accurately and on time.
