Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Equipment Technician to repair spray equipment at stores or customer sites and to train customers and staff on proper use. The role supports store sales for wholesale and retail customers and requires strong service skills and basic repair experience.

Preferred candidates may read, write and communicate in Spanish; lifting up to 50–70 lbs; willingness to work evenings and weekends; and a background in repairing pumps and tinting equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must have a 'meets expectations' rating and complete HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers.
• Perform repairs on spray equipment at the store or at customers' job sites.
• Conduct hydraulic and warranty repairs.
• Rebuild pumps.
• Repair branch tinting and mixing equipment.
• Educate other employees and customers on spray equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of spray parts.
