Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in New Ulm, MN is seeking a Spray Dry Operator for 1st shift. You will work onsite handling chemicals, performing quality control checks, and assisting with packing and sanitation in a fast-paced production environment.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of packing/compounding experience, plus GMP/HACCP knowledge. Forklift experience is preferred, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand most of the day.

Qualifications

• Experience handling chemicals in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP principles is required.
• Ability to operate a forklift and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment during wash-ups and reassembly.
• Clean and sanitize rooms as needed; titrate chemicals as required.
• Assist with washing functions during wash times across areas.
• Accurately package product and perform quality control checks.
• Conduct HACCP sampling and product testing as required.
• Move pallets using pallet jack and handle packing powders into bags or super sacs.
