Job summary

Reaction Biology Corporation in Malvern, PA, is seeking a Research Scientist II to contribute to the development, optimization, and validation of SPR assays for client orders. You will perform experiments on client samples to determine the kinetics and affinity of binding interactions, and work within the SPR service group.

You will independently perform lab activities, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with senior scientists to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree with > 3 years’ experience in biological, biochemical, and/or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Experience with SPR assays and data interpretation.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reagents accurately for SPR assays.
• Support complex research projects and maintenance of instruments.
• Perform routine assay plate set-up and data analysis.
• Troubleshoot problems and develop solutions.
• Identify issues with lab equipment and ensure GMP-like practices.
• Advise junior lab personnel on procedures and train new staff.
