Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a hands-on Forging Operator to produce high-quality self-piercing rivets. The role involves setting up and running a 6-station cold heading machine and ensuring tooling and controls are set for optimum results.

You will follow work instructions, read part and tooling prints, and apply SPC methods to maintain quality, safety, and organization while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
• Capable of using measuring tools and reading specs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cold header machines.
• Follow work instructions and procedures.
• Maintain quality using SPC.
• Meet production numbers while keeping scrap low.
• Run multiple cold-heading machines per shift.
• Follow 5-S principles.
