Job Description:

AHF Products is seeking a Spotter Warehouse Associate in Kankakee, IL. Reporting to the DC Supervisor, this role involves assembling, receiving, labeling, and loading pallets according to customer specifications in the shipping department.

Job Duties:

1. Operate spotter, forklift, and reach truck; TRT experience is a plus.
2. Safely move trailers between dock doors and the trailer yard using a spotter.
3. Move materials, assemble, and label pallets as per customer requirements.
4. Verify quantities, SKUs, and lot numbers through visual inspection.
5. Pick bulk items, stretch-wrap pallets, load trailers, and adjust load patterns.
6. Communicate safety concerns and key information to drivers.
7. Verify incoming pallets and transfer to storage locations.
8. Store mixed SKU pallets as required.
9. Operate palletizer line, check equipment and supplies.
10. Use dispatcher system and radio data terminal for inquiries and updates.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of related experience or equivalent training/education.
• Positive work history and ability to read and interpret safety rules, SOPs, manuals.
• Flexible to work any shift, including weekends and overtime.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently push, pull, carry, and lift 20-70 lbs.
• Occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Work in moderate noise levels.

Mental Demands:

• Analytical thinking, decision-making, and solution development.
• Teamwork, punctuality, attention to detail, effective communication.
• Multitasking in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
