Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a 1st & 2nd shift Spot Welder with set-up experience for our Roseville, MN location. The role involves operating spot-welding equipment, installing electrodes, and dialing in heat and pressure to meet drawings and quality plans.

You will inspect welds with precision instruments, deliver parts to inspection, and work with supervisors to resolve any equipment or material issues while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of spot welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read routings, drawings and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills to partner with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Operate spot-welding equipment and set up electrodes.
• Install electrodes on the spot-welding machine and adjust heat/pressure.
• Inspect welds using precision measuring tools and verify dimensions.
• Deliver first piece to inspection and ensure weld quality to plans.
• Identify and report faults in equipment or materials to supervision.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the welding area.
