Monday-Thursday (occasionally work Fridays)
4:00am-2:30 pm
$17/hr

SUMMARY
Assembles, spotwelds, grinds and polishes sub-assemblies and final assembly's working independently and as a member of a team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Selects equipment, fixtures and hand tools needed to perform task; sets up and maintains equipment used.
• Positions, aligns, and spot welds components together using fixtures, gauges, and measuring tools.
• Grinds, files, polishes welds to insure a smooth even transition between components.
• Interpret Company process control documents (Engineering Drawings, Travelers, and Product Catalogs) to determine component configuration.
• Proficiency in the use of all necessary measuring methods.
• Proficiency in the use of PC-based information systems.
• Setup and operate stationary overhead and multi head spot welders.
• Ensure workmanship meets or exceeds company quality standards.
• Assist in product development.
