What’s the position?

We're looking for an exceptional, visionary Sportsbook UX Manager to build and lead our dedicated Quality Assurance team within our Sportsbook division. This critical leadership role goes beyond traditional QA management - you'll be architecting our Sportsbook quality assurance framework, developing innovative monitoring processes, and cultivating a team of elite Sportsbook UX Analyst professionals. The ideal candidate will create a Sportsbook UX function that proactively identifies issues and collaborates effectively across the organization to drive continuous improvement. This role requires someone who understands both customer experience and company strategy, with the ability to translate high-level business objectives into actionable Quality Assurance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an industry-leading framework tailored specifically for our Sports Betting Application
  • Build, train, mentor and develop a high-performing Sportsbook UX Analyst team, instilling a culture of quality excellence and customer obsession
  • Establish clear KPIs and metrics for both the team and individual team members that align quality assurance activities with business outcomes
  • Ensure a high-quality daily report is completed and distributed, highlighting all identified issues, their customer impact, and the actions determined to resolve them
  • Ensure daily reports include not just issues but also proactive recommendations for experience enhancements
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across Product, Tech, Operations and Trading teams
  • Develop comprehensive checklists and procedures for continuous app monitoring
  • Create sophisticated monitoring systems that can scale with business growth & new functionalities
  • Identify systemic issues by analyzing patterns and trends in incidents
  • Be aware of all upcoming releases and changes requiring increased monitoring
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis and industry best practices
  • Anticipate quality challenges for upcoming product releases and trading events
  • Report on ongoing issues and collaborate with relevant teams to implement permanent resolutions
  • Lead regular brainstorming sessions focused on anticipating future quality challenges and opportunities
  • Foster a culture of innovation where team members are encouraged to suggest improvements beyond their standard responsibilities
  • Establish a formal process for team members to contribute ideas for product and process improvements
  • Develop frameworks for evaluating and implementing team member suggestions
  • Sign off on incident channels after verifying resolution
  • Challenge content plans when appropriate and ensure company strategy is being followed
  • Serve as the quality ambassador to Sportsbook Leadership, advocating for investments in quality improvement
  • Create and implement innovative approaches to QA that provide competitive advantage in the market

  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience creating and implementing QA processes and checklists
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, train and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Knowledge of best practices in quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Willingness to work weekends and late nights as required by sporting events schedule
  • Ability to manage a team that operates on an extended schedule including evenings and weekends
