Job Summary

Responsible for accurate cash transactions and processing sports book wagers and payments.

Job Duties

• Accept bets and parlay cards; write tickets on all sporting events professionally and courteously.
• Receive sport or parlay tickets from customers and pay out winnings.
• Maintain and balance a till for issuing and redeeming tickets.
• Keep a neat, well-stocked window for the next shift.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain reconciliations.
• Follow all Title 31 procedures and logging; understand all terms and conditions of sports wagering.
• Be aware of all lines and odds in the Sports Book.
• Monitor betting patterns and report any peculiar activity to the Sports Book Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations.
• Promote excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in high-volume cash operations or equivalent training.
• Good communication skills with the public.
• Ability to understand financial data and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Knowledge of Responsible Gaming Program.
