Job summary
NBCUniversal in San Francisco offers a Summer 2025 internship in editing, working closely with NBC Sports Bay Area staff editors. You will learn digital and linear editing, supporting ongoing projects and acquiring footage from external sources.
Ideal candidates are enrolled in a degree program for Summer 2025, with sophomore status or higher, and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. On-site in San Francisco with eligibility to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a degree program June 2025–August 2025
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
- Intermediate editing skills, preferably with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar functionality
- Knowledge of sports, preferably Bay Area teams
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be willing to work in San Francisco, California
Responsibilities
- Edit with guidance from NBC Sports Bay Area editors/managers
- Support daily editing workload
- Collaborate with Manager and Video Producer/Editors on upcoming projects
- Learn both digital and linear editing platforms
- Understand NBC Sports Media databases and workflows
- Procure footage from external sources
- Assist with other day-to-day tasks
