Job summary

Elios Healthcare in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Sports Physical Therapist to join a high-performing orthopedic and sports medicine team. You will work with collegiate and professional athletes from across the country, including NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, and UFC, in a collaborative, high-expertise environment.

You will guide athletes through post-operative rehab and return-to-sport protocols, with a typical schedule of one new patient and two to three follow-ups per day, emphasizing

• 2+ years of Physical Therapy experience.
• Sports or orthopedic physical therapy experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical experience with ACL rehabilitation and sports injuries.

• Dry needling experience or interest is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy for collegiate, professional and high-level athletes.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sports Physical Therapist to join a high performing orthopedic and sports medicine team in Philadelphia.

This is not a traditional orthopedic physical therapy clinic.

We work with high level athletes from across the country, including collegiate athletes and professionals from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, and UFC.

Our team brings everything together under one roof, including advanced imaging, ambulatory surgery and physical therapy.

Our patients have access to some of the most respected surgeons in the country who specialize in complex sports injuries and have extensive experience of treating ACL injuries.

The Opportunity

You will work alongside a team of experienced Physical Therapists and orthopedic specialists treating athletes throughout the entire continuum of care, including post operative rehabilitation and return to sport.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands athletes, enjoys working with high-performance patients and is comfortable treating complex orthopedic conditions involving the ACL, shoulder, elbow and other sports related injuries.

Our typical schedule includes approximately one new patient and two to three follow up visits per day, allowing you to spend meaningful time with each athlete rather than moving patients through a high-volume clinic.

You will not be treating the typical orthopedic patient population found in a traditional outpatient clinic.

Our patients include professional athletes who are sometimes flown in from across the country specifically to work with our physicians and rehabilitation teams.

We are a team of four Physical Therapists and are looking for another high caliber clinician who wants to be surrounded by other "A players" who take pride in working with athletes.
