Job summary

University of Maryland Faculty Physicians seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, determine goals, and implement treatment plans in accordance with PT principles.

The role requires Maryland licensure and a relevant degree. SCS is preferred but not mandatory; pursuit of SCS may be required if not currently held. This is a full-time clinical position with ongoing responsibilities and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a PT license in Maryland.
• Bachelor’s degree plus five years of PT experience or Master’s/Doctorate where applicable.
• SCS certification preferred but not required.
• PT pursuing SCS is required if not currently SCS.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services under general supervision and perform related duties as assigned.

Job description

Under general supervision, deliver physical therapy services through evaluation of patient needs, goal determination, and development and execution of treatment plans according to the principles and practices of physical therapy; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree plus five years of physical therapist experience, or Master’s Degree, or Master's equivalent, or Doctorate of PT, required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist with the State of Maryland is required
• Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) Therapist is preferred but not required
• Phsycial Therapist pursuing SCS specialization is required if applicant is not a SCS

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
