The community you'll be caring for: Sports/Ortho Physical Therapy Patients

The role you'll contribute:

As part of our team across over 40 outpatient clinics in Central Florida, you'll be dedicated to whole-person care to help patients heal, strengthen, and renew. We serve patients in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler, and Lake Counties with a team of therapists, clinicians, and staff committed to our mission.

In this outpatient setting, you'll provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups, utilizing process improvement to meet the department's goals. You are expected to practice autonomously and collaboratively, providing the best care through professional judgment and action.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Promoting evidence-based care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative research, journal reviews, teaching, mentoring, and clinical education within a peer group
• Participating in marketing efforts to build referral relationships with physicians and practices, with at least 2 contacts per month, and supporting community awareness through events, lectures, and outreach as approved by management
• Determining Physical Therapy diagnoses and establishing care plans, including making referral recommendations outside of scope when necessary
• Performing Direct Access Physical Therapy in outpatient settings as permitted by state law
• Designing and implementing treatment plans based on standards, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs, monitoring responses, and adjusting as needed

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Licensed in Florida as a Physical Therapist or holding a Temporary Florida permit
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Sports Orthopedic Physical Therapy
