Under general supervision, this position officiates various sports leagues, including but not limited to baseball, basketball, flag football, kickball, soccer, softball, and volleyball.

Tools & Equipment: Requires use of various sports equipment, scoreboards, whistles, scheduling software, personal automobile, and telephones.
Physical Demands: Requires regular sitting, standing, walking, running, talking, handling, feeling or operating objects, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Requires occasional reaching with hands and arms, climbing and balancing, skating. Requires moderate physical activity with moderate lifting, up to twenty (20) pounds. Requires close and distance vision acuity and the ability to adjust focus, allowing a broad field of vision. Employee must communicate clearly and effectively; must understand and be understood.
Environment: Work is frequently performed outside in varying temperatures and conditions. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and hot and/or cold conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may range from moderate to extreme. The employee will occasionally encounter fumes, odors, dusts, or mists.

Full pay range for Sport Official: $22.81/hr. - $28.90/hr.
