The City of Berkeley invites you to apply for the position of Sports Official (Non-Career Intermittent) in the Parks, Recreation and Waterfront Department! In this role, you will have the opportunity to officiate a wide variety of sports and athletic events at an assigned gymnasium, ballfield or court.

A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position is:

Sufficient officiating or playing experience in an assigned sport to demonstrate an appropriate knowledge of the rules of play. Certification as an official in the specific sport is desirable.
